Are you certified in CPR? Why? Apply that reasoning to mental health.
Considering that one in three people will experience a mental health problem at some point in their life odds are you will need this training in both your personal and professional life. Participants will leave this training able to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health problems, provide initial help, and refer to professional help appropriately.
Mental Health First Aid is the gold standard in mental health training created by the Mental Health Commission of Canada, and is a 12-hour certificate training that can be implemented over 2 six-hour days anytime within one month, or broken down into 4 three-hour sessions over the course of one month.
